The picture on page 30 is the real events that took place at Custer's last stand. The picture on page 31 looks more real but the one on page 30 is much more accurate.

The picture on page 30 is supposely what really happened a Custers last stand. The picture on page 31 is just a picturen, and not what acutally happened. Even with the poor detail on page 30, this is what is said to have happened in the last sand and is more factual than the picture on page 31.

I think that the Sioux drawing is more realistic than the painting. I think this because there were no white eyewitnesses but there were Native Americans who would know how the battle really took place. There is no way to be sure that Custard's Last Stand was a brave, honorable death because he died. He cannot exactly come back from the dead and tell his side of the story so it is same to assume that the accounts from the Native Americans who fought are accurate.

The picture produced by the indian artist was more realistic for me. It depicts the battle as bloody for both sides. The indians may have won the battle but they experienced a lot of bloodshed in the process

The picture one the left is more realistic. I say this because it was created by the Plains Indians. The Indians won the battle so showing that all the white men are dead is showing me that it is the more truthful painting.

The picture on the right goes more into detail about the battle itself. It shows what guns they were using and what there uniforms looked like. The picture on the left is more like a kid drawing about the battle. it shows very little detail and the numbers of the people are wrong.

I feel that the picture on the right is more realistic, because of the detail in the depiction of the battle. The picture on the left seems to be more of a cartoon. The soldiers on the right look like they have fought a hard battle, where as the soldiers in the left picture are just laying around.

According the the legend, only General George Armstrong Custer was left unitl the end of the battle. Looking at the pictures on pages 30-31, the picture on page 30 is more realistic. I think it's curious how the picture by the Sioux shows an actual depiction of teh battle compared the the American picture on page 31.

I believe the picture on page 30 is more realistic. The painting shows the Lakota–Northern Cheyenne tribe winning, and the other painting shows the opposite. In real life the indians did indeed win the battle.

The Sioux picture depicts the battle in a more realistic way. It shows the battle as being more chaotic and with the Native Americans winning the battle. Both of these things are true as far as history is concerned. The European Americans lost the battle and every soldier was killed.Edgar Paxson's picture shows the European Americans valiently winning which is not true.

I believe the picture on page 30 is more true to what really happened at the Battle of Little Big Horn. I think this way for several ways. Although the picture on page 31 looks more professional, because it was painted by a colonist and the paining on page 30 was painted by an indian. The paining on page 30 portrays the Indians winning but they are surrounded by the dead bodies of other indians and many colonists. The painting on page 31, since it was done by a colnist, has a little bit of bias and the main focus is many colonists in the middle shooting at the indians on horses. If I did not know the history behind this painting I would believe the colonists won. But I do know what really happened, so I believe the painting on page 30 portrays what truly happened at this battle.

I think that the picture on page 30 is more realistic. It looks more like and indian made it which makes more sense to me since Custer and all of his men died at the battle.

The painting by Edgar Paxson might look more realistic, but i believe that the painting be the sioux tells the story more accurately. At the battle of little bighorn, there were no american witnesses, which means that they could not accurately describe the battle, only guess. However, the soiux tribe had warriors return from the battle to describe how the battle unfolded.

I think the picture on page 30 is more realistic. It is said to have been painted by an actual Indian who had witnessed the battle. The painting does look a little elementary, but it seems to justify the story better than the painting on pg. 31. Although the painting on pg. 31 is professionally done and has more detail, it doesnt correctly describe the battle that took place.

i think the picture on page 30 was more realistic. I think this because the Sioux destroyed us at the Battle of Little Big Horn and the picture on page 31 was showing Custers men fighting of the Sioux. Also there were no white people who witnessed the battle and the sioux were there so they would know what happened better than us.

The picture on page 30 looks to be a more accurate account of what happened. 31 looksto be blown out of purportion

The picture on page 30 is better. It shows the real battle that happened. The picture on page 31 just shows the landscape, it doesn't show any hardships of the battle.

I believe that both pictures look realistic. The picture on page 31 looks a lot more realistic when it comes to how good and detailed the actual picture looks. The picture on page 30 though, is more realistic. It looks more of what really happened at Custer's Last Stand. The indians actually created the picture on page 30, showing all of the white men laying on the ground and them standing up.

the picture of Custard that is painted looks more presentable than the picture drawn the Sioux. the bloodshed was shown very accurate and to great detail.
