Dewey's radio voice souned much like the voice of the horse track announcer. He spoke fast as if there was much that needed to be said in a very short time frame. When he spoke that way in order to hear what he was saying a listening would really have to pay close attention. My reaction after a little while of listening to the DJ was to ignore what he was saying. I believe that Dewey loved the music but the reason he got the sponsership was because the sponser was able to get free advertisment for his store and it turned that a person listening to the radio show would have the brand name stuck in their pshyce and of course when you head to the store that would be the brand of your liking. The sound of the Blues sounded more like big band and swing sound. I like the music.
